Once this course is complete you can qualify to take the Nail Technician examination which is given by The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology.
Nail Technician Licensing Requirements in Oklahoma
– Complete 600 hours of course work or equivalent number of credit hours – Students must pass a written and practical exam – Is over the age of 16 – And has completed the High School equivalent of the eighth grade
REQUIREMENTS FOR A TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTOR
– Must have a current Oklahoma Manicurist License – Complete 1000 hours of study, or 500 is acceptable if 2 years related license experience – Pass a written and practical exam – Hold a High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate – Is over the age of 16
The term of license for both is one year and required to renew on the last day of your birthday month annually.
