How to Get a Nail Tech License Renewed in Alaska

Upon earning your AK nail technician license, it is valid for up to two years. In this state, licensure occurs at the same time for all licensees. Nail technicians must renew by August 31 in every odd-numbered year.

Currently, Alaska does not require any continuing education credits. However, they do require you to pay a $180 license renewal fee.
