Georgia Barber Training and License Requirements

The licensing process in Georgia is the same for barber II candidates and master barber candidates. Once you’ve gone through your education, you can submit proof of training hours to the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers. You can then schedule your written and practical exams through PSI. After you earn passing scores on both exams, you can get your barbering license in GA.

The other two can come from any other area of barbering. The license renewal fee in Georgia is $50, but it doubles to $100 if you submit your documents after December 31.
