When training in “The Ocean State” to become an electrolysis specialist, you will learn about hair growth and how to properly remove it. You’ll learn about the equipment you use and how to properly care for it and clean it. You’ll be taught about regrowth of the hair and terminology used. Overview of Electrolysis Licensing in Rhode Island

– 275 hours of practical training

You must undergo a physical examination from a physician to ensure you’re free of infectious diseases. Finally, you’ll be able to take the exam given by the Board, which must be passed to earn your licensure.
