You can either can opt for a training program that only focuses on becoming a nail technician, or you can choose a full cosmetology program that includes training in manicures and pedicures, among other relevant courses. In a nail program you should learn techniques used in giving manicures and pedicures, including how to do tips, acrylics, safety and sanitation, business practices, and more. We recommend comparing several programs just to be sure the learning outcomes match your professional aspirations.
